Exploring ChatGPT opportunities for business

I attended Bok Teer – Beer Talk 2023 #1, a discussion about ChatGPT opportunities for business. The event explored a question attracting attention from business owners and people at work at the time: would ChatGPT help people do their jobs, or replace them?

This is another experience documenting my engagement with AI in 2023, through knowledge and perspectives shared by people working in business, digital media, and esports. The discussion connected technology with people and work, an important part of understanding the role a new tool might play in business.

Perspectives from the speakers and moderator

I appreciate the knowledge and experience shared by the speakers. The event information introduced the participants in these roles:

• Chok — Co-founder of Debuz & GAMEINDY, a digital media specialist and co-founder of a Thai independent game company.
• Treepob “Xyclopz” — CEO & Founder of Spectre Agency, an international esports caster contributing to the development of Thai esports casting on the global stage.
• Pawoot “Pom” Pongvitayapanu — Joining and moderating the conversation, introduced at the event as CEO of TARAD Dot Com Group Co., Ltd. and Pay Solution Co., Ltd.

Following AI through presentations and conversation

The stage photographs include a discussion about ChatGPT and a slide titled “ChatGPT learning curve,” recording a perspective on expectations and learning to use the tool at that time. Other photographs capture the attendees and the atmosphere of the gathering.

This experience forms part of my participation in conversations about AI during the early period of widespread interest in ChatGPT, considering both business opportunities and questions about the future of work.
