In September 2024, I was invited to teach WordPress and SEM/SEO as a guest lecturer for MBA students at Mae Fah Luang University in Chiang Rai. The teaching engagement lasted two days.

This was an invitation to bring professional experience into postgraduate education. It reflects trust in my SEO and digital marketing background, and in my ability to explain that experience in a business-learning context.

From SEO practice to postgraduate teaching

My professional work covers website analysis, technical SEO troubleshooting, WordPress improvement, performance tracking and longer-term strategy. These areas connect how a website works with what a business needs it to achieve.

The supporting material from that period also records SEO Specialist experience with Unilever Thailand / Oliver Agency and teaching experience with THNIC Foundation and the Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan). That professional background provides context for the expertise I brought to this engagement.

Websites, search and business decisions

The invited topic placed WordPress alongside SEM/SEO: the website where a business presents itself, and the search channels through which people discover it. For an MBA audience, this brings website decisions into the same conversation as marketing and management.

The broader business questions include whom a website serves, whether its information meets their needs, and how performance evidence informs the next decision. My supporting material approaches SEO through analysis, technical problem-solving, tracking and continuing strategy work. These areas explain the professional perspective I brought into postgraduate teaching.

What this adds to my teaching experience

Teaching postgraduate students over two days connects practical knowledge with the task of helping others understand it. It calls for command of the subject, a clear sequence of explanation and an ability to relate technical questions to business decisions.

This experience therefore represents both my specialist SEO background and recognition of that background through an invitation to teach at university level. The classroom photographs preserve the engagement and the students who took part.
